Community Guidelines - Early Childhood Community Connections

This is a voluntary community built to support job seekers in early childhood systems. We're here to actively help each other succeed.

Guidelines:

1. Active participation only. Join if you're actively seeking a new job OR ready to actively support job seekers. This means sharing opportunities, making connections, and reaching out to contacts at hiring organizations.

2. Honest competition. If you're job seeking, compete fairly. Don't undermine another member's efforts to secure a position.

3. Pay it forward. If you're leaving a position that could benefit someone in this community, give us advance notice. Connect with potential fits and leave on terms that allow you to recommend a strong successor.

4. Respect everyone's time. Be helpful, be honest, and be direct. We value action over empty gestures.

5. Invitation-based membership. This is an invitation-only community. When you invite someone, you're vouching for their commitment to these guidelines. Bring people who genuinely want to help.

6. Accountability matters. All members maintain profiles so we stay accountable to each other and to this community's purpose.

Bottom line: This community works because we show up for each other. If you're not ready to actively participate, this isn't the right fit.
