Rachelle Gamboa, Project Coordinator
Connect with Rachelle if you don’t know where to start or are looking for help figuring things out.
Rachelle is a recent honors graduate of Temple University with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Her undergraduate career focused on her research with Temple University’s Adaptive Memory Lab, Arizona State University's Children’s Equity Project, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), where her honors thesis research examined evidence-based mental health interventions in urban schools. Rachelle is also a dedicated leader, having served as President of Psi Chi, Vice President of Alpha Sigma Rho Sorority, Inc., an Academic Coach, and proud volunteer in her communities. These experiences strengthened her desire to address educational inequalities for marginalized and neurodivergent communities and refine her skills in researching, scientific writing, and problem-solving.
Rachelle's extensive experience in educational research, strong leadership, and hands-on work fuel her desire to gain more technical and administrative experience in the early childhood education (ECE) landscape. Her tenacity and curiosity motivate her to continue perfecting her skill set and expanding her knowledge. Alongside her work at ECS, Rachelle currently serves as Camp Counselor at Meaningful Futures LLC, supporting children with ASD.
She is a first and like firsts, figures everything out.
Looking ahead, she intends to pursue School Psychology, marrying her passions for educational equity and mental health. In her free time, Rachelle loves watching anime, building with Legos, raising her new (and first) puppy, and exploring her newest hobby: running!
